I was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1993. My guiding values are Knowledge, Creativity, and Compassion. As a lifelong learner, I’m driven by curiosity and growth. As a musician, I value expression and craft. And from my time in healthcare, I learned that caring is an action, not just a sentiment. I bring that same mindset to my work—building things that matter and make an impact.

🎓 Education
I graduated from East High School and Central Campus in Des Moines, where I first learned trade skills and earned college credit. I later studied Music and Biology at Grand View University, which taught me to see creativity and logic as two sides of the same coin. After several years working in healthcare, I returned to pursue Computer Science at DMACC. There, I joined clubs for writing, philosophy, and fencing—and was accepted into TechWise, a mentorship program offering real-world coding projects and global collaboration.
⚙️ My Past Work Experience
My first job was as a food service cashier at Adventureland Park, followed by several years as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at Valley View Village. Caring for others taught me empathy, precision, and resilience—qualities I now bring into software engineering. In 2023, I made the leap back into education to pursue a creative, intellectually engaging career in tech.

I’m a lifelong learner and creator. My interests span music, art, film, science, philosophy, fencing, programming, and game design. I'm a polymath who loves connecting ideas across disciplines.
